180 V Motion vs 360 Video Booth: What's the Difference?
Both the 180 V Motion and the 360 Video Booth film guests in slow motion, but the camera path sets them apart. Compare the vertical sweep and the horizontal orbit to pick the right one for your event.

Both the 180 V Motion and the 360 Video Booth film guests in slow motion, but the camera path sets them apart: 180 V Motion sweeps vertically, from floor to overhead, for a dramatic upward reveal, while the 360 Video Booth circles guests horizontally for a full-circle orbit shot. The vertical format suits solo or small-group statement shots, while the horizontal format suits group poses and exhibition crowds.
How 180 V Motion Works
180 V Motion uses a camera that travels along a vertical arc, starting low and sweeping up and over the guest, or the reverse. The effect reads as a dramatic reveal, closer to a film crane shot than a typical booth clip, and works especially well for moments with movement built in: a jump, a dress or cape flaring out, confetti falling, or a product being lifted into frame.
Because the path is vertical, it suits one or two guests standing in a fixed spot rather than a wide group, and it needs ceiling clearance for the camera's upward travel.
How the 360 Video Booth Works
The 360 Video Booth does the opposite: the camera orbits horizontally around a platform where guests stand, capturing every angle in one continuous slow-motion sweep. This format handles groups far more comfortably since guests can spread out across the platform, and it's a strong fit for exhibition floors and brand activations where the booth itself needs to draw a crowd from across the room. We've covered this format in more depth in our guide to 360 booths at exhibitions.

Which One to Book
If your event has a single standout moment, a product reveal, a couple's entrance, a solo spotlight, 180 V Motion delivers the more cinematic version of that moment. If you need an activation that pulls in groups of guests throughout the event and works as a standalone crowd-drawing station, the 360 Video Booth is the better fit. Several of our brand activations, including the Digital City identity launch, used a 360 setup for exactly this reason.
For events that want both, we often run them as separate stations so guests can choose the experience that fits their moment.
FAQ

It's designed for one or two people at a time. For larger groups, the 360 Video Booth or our XL Photo Booth are better suited.
Does the 360 Video Booth need a lot of floor space?
It needs a clear circular area for the camera arm to orbit, typically a 2 to 2.5 meter radius, plus room for the platform guests stand on.
Can both formats be branded for a corporate event?
Yes, both support custom backdrops, on-screen branding, and watermarked clips.
